Save the Date! Join the 41st edition of the European Heritage Days on September 21-22, 2024. During this week, historical monuments, museums, and sites, often closed to the public, open their doors for free. It offers a unique opportunity to explore and appreciate national treasures, with guided tours, exhibitions, and special activities highlighting the importance of preserving cultural heritage.

This year's theme highlights the Heritage of Journeys, Networks, and Connections and the Maritime Heritage. Discover how travels have shaped Strasbourg’s collections and delve into the intricate web of networks in sciences like seismology.  Find the entire programme here : www.strasbourg.eu/jep

Your Euraxess Centre particularly recommends the guided tour in easy French organised by the Jardin des Sciences. This is a unique experience to explore Strasbourg’s Imperial Campus in a tour designed for French learners.  On Sunday, September 21, at 15:00 and 16:30, discover the history and architecture of the University’s symbolic Palais and gardens. After 1870, Strasbourg became German, and the city expanded, with the university becoming a symbol of German power and scientific progress. The architecture tells the story of this transformation.
